The previous owner had the engine, tranny, suspension, paint & body done by fairly reputable places 1100 miles ago, but the car has been stored for the past 6 years. any suggestions on what I need to do besides bend the sway bar and cooling lines and find a different radiator hose? This is a very clean original car with 75k on the clock. Took it back got another ranchero pump thinking the first was defective, it lasted about 5 minutes before it broke. took it back and got the one that was suspose to fit with the big filter on the bottom, it wouldn't clear the transmission lines,lower radiator hose and barely cleared the sway bar. pulled the pump and the lever was broken. It matched up to a 72 ranchero 302 or 351 W, I put it on, the engin ran for a couple of minutes and quit, no fuel. I took it to the "zone" It didn't match what their puter said it was.
